FASTag is a simple to use, reloadable tag which enables automatic deduction of toll charges and lets you pass through the toll plaza without stopping for the cash transaction.

Radio-frequency Identification

The tag employs Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) technology and is affixed on the vehicle's windscreen after the tag account is active.

FASTag is a perfect solution for a hassle free trip on national highways. FASTag is presently operational at 180 toll plazas across national and state highways. More toll plazas will be brought under the FASTag program in the future. 

 

 

FASTag Services In India

In order to reduce unnecessary waiting period at National Highway toll plazas, Government of India (GOI) has made it compulsory for all vehicles using National Highway toll plazas across India (excluding two and three wheelers) to make toll payments through FASTag which is a windshield RFID electronic device. With this, vehicles crossing National Highway toll plazas will have to pay toll charges using FASTag.

FASTag uses RFID technology where toll payments get directly debited from the account linked to it. FASTag is affixed on the windscreen of vehicles and enables to drive through National Highway toll plazas ensuring continuous movement of vehicles with a comfort of cashless payment of toll fee. It is a one stop solution for a trouble free trip on National Highways.Alankit has tied up with Axis Bank for its FASTag program which is a part of National Electronic Toll Collection initiative rolled.

Benefits :

Saves Fuel and Time

FASTag is read by the tag reader at the plaza and the toll amount is subtracted automatically when a vehicle advances towards the toll plaza. Vehicles with FASTag are not required to stop at the toll plazas for cash transactions.

SMS alerts for transactions

Customers will receive immediate SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers for all the transactions that are taking place in their tag account.

Online recharge

Customers may recharge their tag accounts online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NEFT/ RTGS or Net Banking.

No need to carry cash

Customers should not worry about carrying cash for the toll payments.

Web portal for customers

Customers can easily access their statement by logging on the FASTag customer portal.

Documents required to purchaseFASTag:

• Address proof
• Identity proof
• RC- Registration Certificate of the vehicle

Procedure to apply:

• Applicants can visit nearby Alankit center to apply for FASTag.
• Our representative will inform the applicant about the documentation procedure.
• Once documents are submitted, Alankit will process the application further.
